Defending champions Bottom Railway BA progress in Kater 4 Knockout cup
THE second round games of the Summer 2018 Kater 4 Knockout cup were played last week in the Loughborough & District Pubs and Clubs Darts League with all the top Division One sides involved winning through.
Last season’s winners Bottom Railway BA beat their ‘local’ rivals Bottom Railway Leftovers 5-1 whilst Mike Pepper hit his second maximum of the season for Spot On MP as they came through a tough game 6-3 against division two side Bull and Bush. The Boat House Tap Tappers beat Arena Gladiators 5-2, and the Three Nuns Right Footers beat the Windmill Wild Hearts 6-3.
The best result from a lower division side was by Jim Kidger Division Six side Three Nuns Bad Habits who had a 5-2 win against Fat Sam’s B from division three.

There were also two preliminary round games in the Shield Competition and the results of these were: Unicorn AW (Duane Freer 180) 8 -1 Beacon, Crown KM v Blue Ball CS - No game to be re-arranged by Thursday, July 12.
The third round draw of the Kater 4 Knockout Cup and the first round draw of the Shield Competition will take place on Thursday, July 19, at the Dewdrop, Hathern.
