POP superstars Little Mix will be bringing their impossibly catchy hits to Derby this month.

The girl band, made up of Perrie Edwards, Jessy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, are hitting stadiums up and down the country this summer, including a stop at Derby’s 3aaa County Ground on July 19.

As part of their Summer Hits Tour 2018, the 2011 The X Factor winners will be performing all their biggest hits for the crowd, including the UK number one singles Shout Out To My Ex, Wings, Touch and Black Magic.

Since shooting to fame after being put together on the talent search seven years ago after initially auditioning in front of judges Louis Walsh, Tulisa, Kelly Rowland and Gary Barlow separately, they’ve sold a huge 30 million records worldwide, making them one of the UK’s biggest selling girl bands since the Spice Girls.

Spreading the girl power this summer, Little Mix will be joined on the road by up and coming Australian girlband Germein, made up of a trio of sisters.

The group, guitar and keyboard player Georgia, electric cello and bass player Ella and drummer Clara Germein, said that the band and their strong message of female empowerment has been particularly inspiring to them.

“We love bands with a strong harmony feel like Fleetwood Mac and Queen and the edginess of Florence and the Machine and The Wombats” Ella said. “You can’t beat the fun energy of iconic female artists from over the years like the Spice Girls, Beyoncé and of course Little Mix.”

Georgia added that she and her sisters are particularly excited to be able to get in front of some huge UK crowds while supporting Little Mix around the country.

“Being able to play in front of such huge audiences across the UK is an absolute dream come true,” she said.
