INTERVIEWS WITH A SERIAL KILLER

Glee Club, Nottingham, September 4 FUNZING Talks are coming to Nottingham – and so are the chilling stories of some of the world’s most dangerous and notorious murderers.

One of the first British policemen to work with the FBI Behavioura­l Science Unit in Quantico, Virginia, was Paul Harrison, who will be imparting his wisdom as an expert on serial killers and profiling.

Paul is largely regarded as a leading expert in the field and has also written 34 books mainly focusing on true crime stories.

The candid talk will focus on three main case studies, which are often told in the killer’s own words, and tell the unsettling tales of how some of the world’s most prolific killers perceive themselves, their victims, and their actions.

Paul will be revealing what led “Hannibal the Cannibal” Robert Maudsley to kill, and why he’s kept in an glass cell.

He will also touch on a number of other dark criminal tails, including how American serial killer John Wayne Gacy Jr. created Pogo the serial killer clown as well as retelling weird secrets from serial killer Joe Metheny, who was known as “The Cannibal.”
