SATURDAY, JULY 14 Tour to see inside Old John Tower at Bradgate Park. Learn about the windmill that previously stood on the hill and the legends associated with it and also the racecourse around the base of the hill. Tour departs from the pole gate leading into wood at Hunts Hill (Old John) car park at 2.30pm and will last about two hours. Walk through part of ancient Grace Dieu Wood, under the Charnwood Railway, along the Forest Line Canal and into the romantic ruins of Grace Dieu Priory, a 13th Century nunnery.
