BID Ambassador sets out what she plans to do for the town
TWO new members have joined the Love Loughborough BID team - including a new Ambassador who has set out what she plans to do for the town.
Marianne Smith is the new BID Ambassador and she has attended previous board meetings where she represented the Ramada Hotel as general manager.
The Ambassador’s role is to act as a Love Loughborough representative on the High Street of Loughborough.
Marianne is responsible for delivering business packs and recycling bags to BID businesses, and will soon be managing the Retail Radio and Pub Watch schemes with an active and prominent focus on cutting down crime and liaising with the CCTV and PCSO’s within the town centre.
Also joining the team is Kelly Hill as BID Co-Ordinator.
Kelly was recently appointed BID CoOrdinator after the organisation bid farewell to her predecessor, Nichola Gaffney.
Kelly, who previously worked at The Curve theatre in Leicester, is now responsible for the planning, promo- tion and running of Love Loughborough events and the promotion and uptake of the Loyalty Scheme.
Kelly will also be assisting the BID Manager, Lisa Brown, with administrative tasks and day-to-day running of the business, with a main focus on managing the recycling scheme.
