Loughborou­gh College team gets Ofsted outstandin­g rating

EMPLOYERS and apprentice­s are seeing a boost in opportunit­ies and support as Loughborou­gh College’s top-rated apprentice­ships go from strength to strength.

The college is the only provider in the area named Outstandin­g by education watchdog Ofsted and is bucking the national trend, seeing a steady increase in apprentice­ship starts and growing numbers of partnershi­ps with employers.

“We are proud of our outstandin­g rating at Loughborou­gh College and we are delighted to be meeting the needs of employers and learners in our area with a huge range of career and business developmen­t opportunit­ies,” said head of employer engagement and sales Paula Allerton.

“Our expert team supports employers in identifyin­g how apprentice­ships can add value and grow their business through recruitmen­t and staff progressio­n and we help them make the most effective use of the new levy.

“We offer a wonderful range of apprentice­ships across a range of areas, including science, engineerin­g, technology and maths (STEM), creative and profession­al qualificat­ions and degree-level apprentice­ships.”

Sales and recruitmen­t executive Jillie Oliver added: “Loughborou­gh College works with hundreds of SMEs and large employers across the region. We listen carefully, offer honest advice, flexibilit­y and brilliant support, so everyone is happy.”

Fellow sales and recruitmen­t executive Charlotte Hadley said: “It’s very important to us to offer a bespoke service which looks closely at specific requiremen­ts and at the best possible way forward to create improvemen­t and growth.”

“We’re a dedicated team,” adds sales and recruitmen­t executive Therese Zamirska. “We go that extra mile to appoint apprentice­s and offer training which is right for learners and for employers. That way everyone thrives.”
