Loughborough College team gets Ofsted outstanding rating
EMPLOYERS and apprentices are seeing a boost in opportunities and support as Loughborough College’s top-rated apprenticeships go from strength to strength.
The college is the only provider in the area named Outstanding by education watchdog Ofsted and is bucking the national trend, seeing a steady increase in apprenticeship starts and growing numbers of partnerships with employers.
“We are proud of our outstanding rating at Loughborough College and we are delighted to be meeting the needs of employers and learners in our area with a huge range of career and business development opportunities,” said head of employer engagement and sales Paula Allerton.
“Our expert team supports employers in identifying how apprenticeships can add value and grow their business through recruitment and staff progression and we help them make the most effective use of the new levy.
“We offer a wonderful range of apprenticeships across a range of areas, including science, engineering, technology and maths (STEM), creative and professional qualifications and degree-level apprenticeships.”
Sales and recruitment executive Jillie Oliver added: “Loughborough College works with hundreds of SMEs and large employers across the region. We listen carefully, offer honest advice, flexibility and brilliant support, so everyone is happy.”
Fellow sales and recruitment executive Charlotte Hadley said: “It’s very important to us to offer a bespoke service which looks closely at specific requirements and at the best possible way forward to create improvement and growth.”
“We’re a dedicated team,” adds sales and recruitment executive Therese Zamirska. “We go that extra mile to appoint apprentices and offer training which is right for learners and for employers. That way everyone thrives.”
