-

IT’S time to say goodbye to Soft Cell as the band perform their last-ever live gig together.

Marc Almond and David Ball will be performing their final concert in London at the end of this month, but you don’t have to actually be there to be there, as they’re giving fans from across the country the chance to be a part of all the action even from hundreds of miles away.

The very last sold-out show from the synth-pop musicians – their first in 15 years in celebration of their 40th anniversary – will be broadcast to cinemas across the country from the capital’s O2 Arena on September 30.

To watch all the action from their final ever show, titled Say Hello, Wave Goodbye, as it happens from London, fans can head to one of the local cinemas broadcasting the show live.

In Nottingham, the concert can be seen at the Savoy, Cineworld or Broadway cinemas, with more screenings expected to be announced across the country and across Europe ahead of the live broadcast. More screenings will be announced via softcell.co.uk/cinema-screenings.

Between the years of 1981 and 2002, Soft Cell released five albums of original material and had 10 songs in the UK Top 40, receiving worldwide acclaimed for their biggest hit, Tainted Love.

Ahead of their final reunion show, the band have announced the releasing of two new tracks, titled Northern Lights and Guilty (Cos I Say You Are).
