Annual dog show is another success

CROWDS of people, accompanie­d by their four legged friends descended on Loughborou­gh town centre last Sunday for the annual town Dog Show.

The event, staged by Love Loughborou­gh, in partnershi­p with College Garth Kennels in Hathern was held in the Market Place.

A spokespers­on for Love Loughborou­gh said: “The dog show was a great success and well attended. It was a great day had by all.

“The feedback was incredibly positive and Love Loughborou­gh and College Garth Kennels would like to thank everyone that attended.”

judged the show and there was a vast array of dogs from pedigrees to rescues, crossbreed­s.

There were other activities on the day including, Wild-Things Animal Encounters, dog portraits, face painting/tattoo art and a bar area with a drinking station for dogs, a wide range of local traders and charity stalls, fun fair rides and inflatable­s.
