Large diversion for closure of village road

A LARGE diversion will be in place when a road in Walton on the Wolds is closed to traffic.

A temporary road closure is required on Loughborough Road from Monday, September 24, for five days, between Nottingham Road and the 30mph speed restriction in the village.

The temporary traffic regulation order will be implemented for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake installation works of a kerbed priority buildout.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via Nottingham Road, Fishpool Way, Melton Road, Paudy Lane and vice versa.

Leicestershire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during these works.
