Bowls club open day invite
FOLLOWING Charnwood Indoor Bowls Club’s successful open day in 2017 the club is again inviting people to come and try indoor bowls on Saturday, September 29, between noon and 4pm.
The club had a very successful 2017/2018 season with both men’s and women’s teams winning their respective Leicestershire Inter club leagues. Both junior and senior bowlers won county titles in 2018 and several members competed in national competitions.
However, many members also enjoy friendly social bowling at the club.
The club is situated next to the leisure centre in Browns Lane, Loughborough.
A spokesperson said: “Indoor bowling is a unique sport that can be enjoyed by people of every ability and all ages.
“All equipment is provided so come and have a try as the basics can be learnt in less than 10 minutes.”
