Premier champions Greenhill YC make it three in a row

EAST Goscote Plumbers Premier Division Champions Greenhill YC made it three in three with an 8-2 win at home against Kegworth Imperial, Jamain Nelson (2), Grant Brown (2) Karl Harratt, Tommy Read, Ryan Mason and Nathan Tomlinson for Greenhill, with Tom Henson bagging both the Kegworth goals.

Falcons FC won 6-1 away at Sutton Bonington, Danny Pownall (3), Ryan Page, Ross Locker and an own goal for the Falcons, Joe Fairclough for Sutton. Mountsorre­l Amateurs won 4-0 away at Belton Villa, Ryan Smith, Connor Simon. Jay Medcroft and Kai Gee with the Ammies goals. A brace from Tom Cary gave Sporting Markfield a 2-0 win at home against Rothley Imperial.

Greenhill YC Reserves lead the shedland.co.uk Division One with three wins out of three after a 5-0 win away at Sileby Victoria, James Barkby (3), Lewis Mead and Billy Carroll with the Greenhill goals. Bottesford FC won 6-1 at home to Market Bosworth, Owen Park (3), Jonathan Whitmore, Alex Robinson and Jak Velinsky for Bottesford, Ben Gascoigne for Bosworth. Shepshed Amateurs came from being 2-0 down at home to FC Coalville to win 3-2 with goals from Luke Harris, George Thomas and Chris Flitton, Jamie Kendrick and an own goal have given Coalville a 2-0 lead. Measham Welfare also led 2-0 away at East Leake Robins but ended up on the losing side 3-2, Danny Yau, Nathan Ball and Alex Pritchett for the Robins, Luke Bodell and Jack Windel for Measham. FC Polonia beat Loughborou­gh United 3-2, Artur Pileckij, Lucasz Hinz and Kamal Kijowski for Polonia, Nathan Bennet from the spot and Nathan Lowe for Loughborou­gh.

CK Dons are the early leaders in the Sports Advocate Division Two after a 1-0 win at home against Asfordby Developmen­t, Tom Figura with the only goal of the game. Goals from Frankie Dixon (3), Max Carroll and Dale Allen gave Thringston­e MW Reserves a 5-0 win at home to Loughborou­gh Emmanuel. A Roman Strong goal gave Wymeswold FC Reserves a 1-0 win at home against Woodhouse Imperial, while Ravenstone United drew 4-4 with Greenhill YC ‘A,’ Ashley Henshall (3) and Michael Clarke for Ravo, Alan Deacon hitting all four for Greenhill.

In the Windmill Trophies Division Three there are four sides who have made an unbeaten start to the season. Market Bosworth Reserves won 7-2 away at Loughborou­gh FC ‘A’ Tom Bennett (3), Josh Wykes (2), Matt Angell and Duran Cummins for Bosworth, Tom Belton and Josh Walden for Loughborou­gh. Sporting Markfield Reserves won 5-1 away at Mountsorre­l FC, Ryan O’Connor (2), Josh Scott, James Evans and Callum Rousseau for Markfield, Harry Thorne for Mountsorre­l. Bottesford FC Reserves won 5-2 at Woodhouse Imperial Reserves, Adam Daybell (2), Joe Lee (2) and Ben Cullen for Bottesford, Jon Dixon and Cameron Bain for Woodhouse. Thorpe Acre won 2-1 at home against Sutton Bonington Reserves, Simon Thompson and Scott Bowtell for Thorpe Acre, George Aspinshaw for Sutton. Measham Welfare Reserves won 2-0 at home against Quorn Rangers, Zac Venning and Paul Hliis with the Measham goals. The game at Loughborou­gh United Reserves vs Birstall Old Boys was abandoned after 6 mins due to a serious injury to Birstall player Lee Whymant, our best wishes go out to him for a speedy recovery.
