Plastic backing up in Woodbrook

I HAVE recently followed the Woodbrook, from just past Woodbrook Vale School, along some of the prettiest footpaths, through the town centre and past the Woodbrook Medical Centre along Canal Bank.

It was there I discovered what happens to discarded plastic. Backed-up in a sluice near the Chain Bridge which crosses the canal. With a wet weather forecast looming, what will happen to the storm-water when it reaches this point?

Dispose of plastic properly! Before it ends up in a watercourse.
