Police still appealing for information
POLICE officers are continuing to appeal for information after a van collided into the front of a Loughborough property last week.
The incident happened just before 4am on Wednesday, September 12, in The Osiers, with the driver of the vehicle being reported to have left the scene of the incident.
No injuries were reported following the incident. Damage was caused to part of the property.
A 15-year-old boy, of Loughborough, was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without consent. He has since been released under investigation.
Enquiries are continuing into the collision and officers are appealing for anyone with any information, who has not yet contacted police, to get in touch.
Detective Constable Alex Paterson said: “We are continuing to establish the full circumstances of the incident and have been carrying out a number of enquiries including checking CCTV and speaking to people in the area.
“As part of these ongoing enquiries, we are continuing to urge anyone who has any information, and who has not yet spoken to us, to make contact.
“The incident happened in the early hours of the morning but we are asking anyone who happened to be in the area at the time, to think back to anything they may have seen or heard.
“We are also appealing to anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage in the area, and surrounding area of The Osiers, to please check this as you could hold vital information.”
