Community Bus annual meeting

THE Annual General Meeting Of Shepshed Special Community Bus will be held on Monday, October 29, at 7pm at Shepshed Town Council Community Centre (opposite Tesco Express).

A spokesperson for the group told the Echo: “Please come along and find out what the Community Bus is all about and see if there is anything we could do to help your group, club or an individual that has problems getting out and about.

“We do regular shopping trips and go on various outings throughout the year. This enables people with mobility, transport, health problems or even loneliness to enjoy the things in life that so many of us take for granted.

“Your support means so much to all the users of the Community Bus, it is a lifeline to so many people, so we need to keep using it to help these people live a happy and independent life.”
