It is the latest creation by the inventors at Shreddies

NOBODY likes to suffer the consequences of farting in the home, office or in the car - whether you are the perpetrator or the victim.

Luckily, Loughborough -headquartered Shreddies might have come up trumps with its latest product.

After the success of its flatulence-filtering pants and clothes the business has followed on with a fart-filtering cushion offering discreet filtration wherever you need it.

Available in black and grey it’s perfect for use in the car, at the office or in the home.

According to people at Shreddies they are hardwearing with a modern design that makes it almost undetectable.

And a hidden carbon lining filters out odours giving you the confidence you need when you can’t hold one in any longer.

Shreddies inventor and owners Paul O’Leary has always been proud of the small part he has had in making people’s lives easier with his flatulence filtration products.

Over the past few years he has helped lots of people suffering with stomach-related illnesses such as IBS, colitis and cCrohn’s disease.

Paul, a kitchen designer by trade, said: “Helping customers with the embarrassing side effects of these illnesses is Shreddies’ main goal and we hope to continue creating innovative products.

“This new cushion is a belt and braces approach to flatulence filtration.”

All Shreddies products are manufactured in their Leicester- shire home at Cotes Mill, just north of Loughborough, and the business now has distributors in more than 20 countries.

The pants have previously made global headlines for the clever way they filter the stink out of people’s flatulence, using carbon.

Some people see them as a humorous gift for a flatulent loved one, while others say they have been life-changing - allowing them to leave the home in confidence after years worrying about letting out smells.

Mr O’Leary developed the pants after suffering his own digestive problems.

He has since gone on to develop fart resistant jeans and pyjamas, and has sold hundreds of thousands of the Leicestershire-made pants.

Shreddies saw a peak in sales four years ago after an ad campaign featuring a handsome man sniffing the backside of a beautiful woman gained worldwide publicity.

The Flatulence cushion is priced at £28 and available in black and grey.
