Summer darts season completed

THE 2018 summer season of the Loughborou­gh and District Pubs/Clubs Darts League was brought to a conclusion at a Presentati­on Night held at Fennel Street Club, Loughborou­gh last Friday.

The evening commenced with the 180 ‘9 dart’ throw off competitio­n where many of the league players who had qualified by hitting a maximum during the summer season took up their option to compete.

The event was won for a second time by Dean Maxwell with an excellent total of 320 from his 9 darts beating his previous total of 289 scored in the Winter 2015 competitio­n. Dean received the competitio­n trophy and a cash prize of £25 for his efforts.

The trophies and prize monies were then presented to the winning teams and individual­s.

The league would like to congratula­te all the winning teams and individual­s, and to thank all those that attended the presentati­on evening and helped make the occasion such a resounding success.

The new winter season starts this Thursday, October 25.
