Town centre fun for bike, trike and car fans
Two popular events are set to make a return
TWO of Loughborough’s most popular events in the town calendar are making a return again this year.
Love Loughborough’s Bike & Trike Show show is back on May 19 and the Car Show returns on June 16 (Father’s Day).
Both events are hugely popular with thousands turning out.
And organiser Love Loughborough is asking for those who want to take part, to register as soon as possible
Kelly Hill, Love Loughborough BID co-ordinator, told the Echo that they were looking for people to register their bike, trike or car for either of the shows via the Love Loughborough website or Facebook page.
Kelly also said anyone wanting a stall or exhibit at the events should contact her at Love Loughborough directly.
The Bike and Trike Show is being staged on Sunday, May 19, from 10am-4pm.
As well as the wonderful array of machines on display, there will also be live music throughout the day with a new up-and-coming group called A Volcano Band.
Well known local biker Harry Leigh will also be back and demonstrating his skills for all.
The Car Show, run in partnership with Charnwood Cruisers, will once again take place on Father’s Day, June 16, in the Market Place, from 10am-4pm.
As well as the fantastic classic cars on display, the day will see Alex Riley, star of The One Show and The Classic Car show, co-hosting the event.
The Del Sharrons will also be entertaining the public with live music throughout the day.
