Beat the half term blues at museum
GAMES, crafts and activities are on offer at Charnwood Museum for the little ones during the February half-term.
Charnwood museum is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 3pm with a host of activities during the half-term.
Upcoming events include:
• Winter themed activities for under-fives –January 15 – March 5.
Free sensory activities, dressing up, games and quizzes in the new activity space for children under five.
• Valentines’ gallery game – February 16 – February 23
There’s hearts a plenty here. Have a go at a Valentine inspired gallery game. Free activity for all ages.
Tiny Tuesday: Happy Hearts – February 19, 10.30am -11.30am
Join in the Valentine’s themed craft session just for under-fives! £2.50 per child, suitable from 12 months and up.
• How bad are bananas?– February 19 and February 20, 10am-3pm. A carbon footprint interactive game where you’ll discover the impact everyday items have on the planet.
Free activity suitable for children for ages 8+
• Wednesday Wotsits – February 20, 10am-12pm
Come along and get crafty by making a wotsit with us. Will it be a badge or a keyring?
Drop in activity. £1per child/item made
• Games Day – February 22, 11am-3pm
