Performers galore are lined up for Wicked Hathern Fest
THE Eighth Wicked Hathern Fest promises to be the biggest and best yet as Noughties hitmakers The Feeling (‘Fill my Little World’, ‘Never be Lonley’, ‘Love it when you call) headline the festival.
They are joined by Joel Dommett (Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Love Island, and new ITV 2 show Singletown) providing the laughs, and added to this are more than 30 other local and upcoming artists spread over the weekend.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, August 9, in its two venues The Dovecote and The Hawthorn Marquee, featuring nine artists over two stages.
On Saturday, August 10, the Specsavers Main Stage is also open, bringing you WHF favourites Rock the 90’s, The Zufflers, Madison Avenue UK and many more. Also back by popular demand is the Family Arena, inside of which everything is free for the kids - free games, free unlimited bouncy castles and free activities, including their own stage headlined by The Voice’s Liss Jones as Ariana Grande, and Jacob Storey both from CBBC’s Got What It Takes.
A spokesperson said: “We’ve also been working on our Adventure Arena which boasts fairground rides, laser tag and much more. We’ve tweaked our vendors and now have our own Artisan Food area with its diverse range of foods from Indian to Italian and also our stalls selling merchandise and other lovely festival goodies.
“Add to the mix our bar in The Dovecote Selling all your favourite lager, ciders and real ales and featuring it’s very own stage too.
“Our own wine bar and prosecco bar, rum bar and Burleighs gin bar finish our bar line-up giving a taste of everything for everyone.”
