Duo’s maximums for leaders’ win

TONY Spencer and Paul Hutchins both hit their second maximums of the season for leaders Bull and Bush Lions as they beat the Royal Oak Reds 7-2 in Blue Ball Division One of the Loughborough and District Pubs and Clubs Darts League. Second place Bottom Railway BA are six points behind the leaders after they beat the Royal Oak Shooters 6-3, whilst Dave Cox hit his second maximum of the summer for Barrow Cons Wagg’s Gang who stay third after their 6-3 win against Ring ‘o’ Bells MP. In Wanty’s Division Two, leaders Spot On Mandems also open up a six point lead over second place Spot On Waifs & Strays after the ‘Mandems’ beat Fat Sam’s Tarts 5-4 but the ‘ Waifs & Strays’ lost by the same score to the Bull and Bush B. In S H Cox Division Three the Bull and Bush Laughing Boys beat the OEG 5&4’s 8-1 and are now six points clear of the Black Swan BWA who had their bye. Mark Rhodes hit a maximum for the Royal Oak Old Uns and Sean Johnston one for the Plough B as ‘the Oak’ won 7-2 to move up to third. In Generous Briton Division Four Duane Etchells hit his second maximum of the season for leaders Top Railway Knockouts as they beat the Crown GB 8-1. They extend their lead to fifteen points from the Spot On Foxes who move ahead of the Three Nuns Right Footers as a result of their 5-4 win against them. Finally in Jim Kidger Division Five Rob Graham hit a maximum and Jason Toon a 103 finish for Barrow Cons B as they beat the Three Nuns Bad Habits 5-4 to go back to the top of the division.
