It’ll soon be Timber time
TIMBER Festival 2020 tickets have gone on sale.
If you want to get organised and save yourself a quid or two then order your early bird tickets now.
Timber Festival takes place from Friday, July 3, until Sunday, July 5, in the beautiful 70-acre woodland of Feanedock, near Ashby de la Zouch in the National Forest.
A limited number of Early Bird tickets are now available to buy online, with a 25 percent discount on all festival tickets for residents of the National Forest. Prices range from £17.50 for adult day tickets to £100 for adult weekend camping tickets. Children aged 3-15 can enjoy the festival for the full weekend for £30 and under-3s go free.
The three-day festival has an eclectic line-up of music, theatre, circus, dance, comedy and outdoor arts. The festival is also a celebration of trees and encourages audiences to re-examine their relationship with the natural world through debates, talks and workshops.
This year 5,000 festival-goers came through the gates.
John Everitt, chief executive of the National Forest said: “Timber 2019 was a real success and we already can’t wait for next year. People flocked to the National Forest from all over the country to enjoy amazing outdoor arts experiences in the sunshine. The festival has inspired audiences to take action in their lives as a positive contribution to climate change, and celebrate a greater connection to trees and forests. Bring on 2020!’
The line-up will be announced later. Tickets are on sale now at timberfestival.org.uk.
