TV CHEF GUEST

-

TELLY favourite John Torode is making an appearance at Clumber Park’s Festival of Food and Drink in September.

Chef, TV presenter and judge of BBC’s MasterChef, Celebrity MasterChef and Junior MasterChef, John will headline the event and once again bring a stunning menu of recipes for live demonstrations. He’ll also be signing his cook books and joining VIP guests for an exclusive meetand-greet.

John made his Clumber Park debut back in 2015, and returned the following year to support his fiancée Lisa Faulkner, with whom he now presents John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen on ITV.

He said: “I had such a great time at Clumber Park a few years ago, I can’t wait to come back. Looking forward to meeting the locals and trying the local produce.”

The event takes place on Saturday, September 14, and Sunday, September 15. However, John will only be making an appearance on Sunday, September 15.

Also appearing over the weekend are Nottingham’s MasterChef: The Professionals 2018 winner Laurence Henry, EpiVegan Brett Cobley, and chef, food journalist and author Rachel Green.

Bev Channell, Festival of Food and Drink organiser, said: “We can’t wait to welcome John back to Clumber Park. He is full of enthusiasm, not only for the recipes he shares, but also the producers he meets at the Festival. With Laurence, Brett and Rachel also on the menu, it’s a very tasty line-up.”

With 150 mouth-watering producers showcasing their food and drink, the festival vibe is enhanced by live music throughout the weekend, and the stage area surrounded by street food vendors and pop-up cafes.

Ticket prices start from £7 in advance with free admission into Clumber Park included. Under fives are free. Family tickets (two adults and two children) from £20. VIP tickets £15 and include priority parking, fast track entry, access to the VIP marquee seating, an exclusive celebrity meet-and-greet and a goody bag. Visit festivaloffoodanddrink.com to book.
