TWO new retail units in the Hall Croft in Shepshed are set to be filled, with one business relocating and a new business being launched.

Love Heart Home is a successful fabric shop which is moving from premises in Charnwood Road to be close to the town centre.

The new unit will be opening for business next Tuesday (September 3) and Love Heart Home’s Marion Preston said she is looking forward to a new era.

“We are thrilled to be taking one of the new units in Hall Croft. We have

been trading in Shepshed for nearly 10 years, we stock a range of beautiful fabrics, yarn and haberdashery from a wealth of well known suppliers such as Makower, Stylecraft, James Brett and more.

“We offer a range of short classes

and workshops in a small, friendly

environment carefully selected for all abilities. We also hold

regular charity days in either sewing or wool craft.

“So why not pop in and say hello and see what we have to offer.”

The second unit will be home to a new business called ‘Firkins’ run by Luke and Amy Dixon. They are hoping to open on October 1.

They said: “We are

a family run business already having shops in the Lincolnshire area. We have lived in

Shepshed all our lives and have been keen to find a shop here.

“We will be serving

milkshakes, smoothies, bubble teas, pancakes, waffles and cakes.

“We hope to bring something a little different to Shepshed to compliment what is already available.

“Work begins over the next few weeks please pop in if you see us

working. We will be calling the shop Firkins.”
