Early bird offer still available on varied adult learnng courses
HUNDREDS of part-time day, evening and weekend courses are available for Leicestershire residents looking to learn a new skill, improve job prospects or develop a new interest.
Those who sign up to the courses, provided by Leicestershire County Council’s Adult Learning Service, GoLearn, before August 31 will benefit from an early bird discount of 10 per cent.
The courses, which are open to those aged 19 or over, take place in venues across the county and cover a wide range of subjects.
Counr Richard Blunt, county council cabinet member for heritage, leisure and arts, said: “The courses available can be life changing as they are designed to help people get back into the job market, improve their maths and English, support their children’s learning and benefit their health and wellbeing.
“The early bird discount on course fees is a great opportunity to try something different and learn a new skill. I would encourage people to take a look at the courses on offer and enrol before the August 31 deadline.”
