LOUGHBOROUGH Dynamo drew 4-4 with Sutton Coldfield Town in an eight goal thriller at the ADT Stadium.

In an explosive start Brad Munn put Dynamo 1-0 up within 40 seconds of the kick off with a well placed shot from outside the box. The player/assistant coach released the ball from his feet and whipped it into the far-right corner.

However, just two minutes later, the opposition equalised through Reece Gibson. Sloppy defending in the box meant the number 11 was free to poke the ball past Jason Alexander.

Curtis Burrows then had two long rage shots fly over the bar in quick succession. The Dynamo number eight was unlucky not to get his seventh goal of the season.

Gibson grabbed his second for Sutton Coldfield in the 33nd minute. Through electric footwork, Isai Marselia managed to create enough space to pass it into Gibson who smashed the ball into an open net.

It didn’t take long for Dynamo to equalise as Thorogood volleyed the ball home from close range in the 38th minute. The ball fell to the defensive midfielder after a shot deflected off of an opposition defender.

Loughborough regained their lead at the beginning of the second half when Norcross slotted the ball into an open net after a low cross to the back-post. Exactly the start Lee Attenborough would’ve hoped for.

However, the manager’s joy didn’t last long as the Royal Blues responded in quick succession. Marsiella scored a brilliantly placed header into the top left corner following a precise corner to make it 3-3.

Sutton Coldfield then scored what they thought must’ve been the winner when Marselia grabbed his second of the afternoon. The striker picked up the ball on the edge of the area and drilled it low into the opposite corner.

Dynamo fired back with another equaliser in the 80th minute. It was Bardsley-Rowe’s turn to get on the score sheet as the substitute’s low shot into the corner was enough to beat the Royal Blues keeper.

Lee Attenborough’s men had chances at the end of the game to take all three points, but it wasn’t meant to be for Dynamo. The boys were clapped off after a performance filled with positives and negatives.
