Falcons reclaim top spot with emphatic home victory

IN THE Coalville Trophies Premiership Falcons reclaimed top spot with a 6-0 win at home to Measham Welfare, Danny Pownall, Ryan Page, Mark Hawkins, Joe Moxom, Ben Fox and Danny Webb with the Falcons goals.
East Leake Robins beat Kegworth Imperial 4-2 at East Leake LC, Nathan Ball, Tom Hardy, James Rowley and Phil Lynch on target for the Robins, Conor Bennett hitting both the Kegworth goals. Goals from Piers Wheeler (2), Ollie Freckingham, Joe Landers and Tom Bott gave Mountsorrel Amateurs a 5-0 win away at Woodhouse Imperial.

Sutton Bonington Reserves lifted themselves off the bottom of the league with a 5-2 win at home against Mountsorrel FC, Jack Tormey (2), Patrick Hood, Will Such and Zac Jackson for Sutton, Harry Thorne with a penalty and James Cross for Mountsorrel.
In the outstanding Cobbin Trophy 1 st round tie Shepshed Amateurs won 2-1 at Loughborough United with George Thomas hitting both the Shepshed goals, Tom James replying for Loughborough.
