Forever family sought for Charlie

-

THE TEAM at Dogs Trust Loughborough are hoping to find a forever family for a dog who is looking for love – and some peace and quiet.

Labrador Cross Charlie arrived at the rehoming centre in November through no fault of her own and has started to find the hustle and bustle of kennel life a little difficult to cope with.

Now the staff are hoping that she will find her very own special someone before Valentine’s Day, which will mark exactly three months since she was handed over to the centre.

Celine Di Crocco, Dogs Trust Loughborough Manager, said: “Charlie is absolutely gorgeous. She is full of energy and loves to play but when it’s time to relax in her kennel, she doesn’t like to be disturbed. She really likes some quiet time and of course her noisier canine companions at the centre are oblivious to that!

“So, her perfect match when it comes to two-legged friends is someone that loves to head out on an adventure but when it’s time to relax, peace and quiet is the order of the day!”

Three-year-old Charlie was handed over to the Wymeswold centre due to a change in her family’s circumstances. Now she is looking for a quiet adultonly home where she is the only pet and she would love her home to have a secure garden where she can burn off some of her youthful energy.

Celine added: “If someone is looking for a fun, lively dog to share their life with then Charlie is the one. She has so much love to give, is clever and full of fun. What more could anyone want from a canine companion?

“We would love her to find her very own special someone in time for Valentine’s Day. She will be more than happy to lap up all the love on the special day and will be a lifelong loyal four-legged friend in return.”
