Activities galore lined up for half term at Charnwood venues
THERE’S plenty for the kids to do in Charnwood this half term thanks to the holiday activity programme.
Charnwood Borough Council’s programme of activities returns for February half-term with a host of things to do.
Activities will run from Monday, February 17, to Friday, February 21, at locations across the borough including Loughborough, Burton on the Wolds, Sileby and Shepshed.
Coun Deborah Taylor, the council’s lead member for communities said: “Our holiday activity programme is just one of the ways we help children in the borough stay active and healthy.
“It is always popular, and I hope the kids enjoy the activities on offer this time.
“Whether you enjoy arts and crafts or building dens, there is something for everyone to enjoy this half term.”
Most of the activities are suitable for children of all ages and families are welcome to come and watch or take part in a number of events.
Activities on offer include den building, love family fit, laser quest, aerial trekking, kin-ball taster session, arts and crafts, family nordic walking, horse riding, multi-sports with LCFC and yoga.
Prices start from £4 and there are several free activities available.
Wild Card holders can also enjoy great discounts.
