FEED ME SEYMOUR
FRESH from his success at the Golden Globes, Taron Egerton is purportedly in talks to star in a remake of Little Shop of Horrors.
The Rocketman star would be taking on the lead of Seymour Krelborn, the florist whose shop becomes the centre of the action.
Rumours also suggest that Scarlett Johansson could also be in the frame for a role in the musical, which tells the tale of Seymour who finds a mysterious Venus flytrap during an eclipse.
Discovering it can speak, he plonks it in the window of his failing business – but soon discovers the plant has more sinister motivations.
AS THE CROW FLIES
THE movie adaptation of James O’Barr’s graphic novel The Crow passed in to legend after the death of its star Brandon Lee.
Two lacklustre sequels and a short lived TV series later, and despite its cult status, The Crow disappeared.
Now it would appear it could be about to make a come back, with plans for a reboot ‘in the works.’ It’s still very early days, but I have my fingers crossed that Aquaman’s Jason Momoa – once linked to an abandoned reboot in 2018 – is still interested in starring.
