Track days are back at Donington Park

-

CUSTOMERS have welcomed the resumption of testing and trackdays at MotorSport Vision circuits, including Donington Park, following the government’s phased relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions.

The circuits have received positive feedback about new online check-in procedures and social distancing measures across the venues.

The gradual resumption of public track activity began last on May 26 in line with government guidelines, and testing and trackdays are now taking place at Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Donington Park, Oulton Park, Snetterton and the purpose-built driving facility at Bedford Autodrome.

MSV Trackdays resumed its activities on June 1, and bike and car trackdays are also being operated by third-party operators. A range of measures have been implemented to reduce the need for personal contact.

Pre-event registration for all activities has been moved online and face-to-face contact with MSV staff at the circuit is via a plastic safety screen. Online video briefings must be viewed before attending trackdays and numbers are limited in pit lane garages, which must remain open at all times.

Only essential helpers are permitted - just one additional person at trackdays - and extra space is available in the paddock to ensure customers can practice social distancing.

Spectators are not currently allowed to attend; full details of all the measures in place can be viewed at https://bit. ly/2XuwXcN
