Company pledges continued support for Alex’s Wish charity

-

NETMETIX has pledged to continue supporting Mountsorrel-based charity, Alex’s Wish, whose mission is to find treatments and – ultimately – a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a life limiting muscle-wasting disease affecting one in every 3,500 boys born in the UK.

Paul Blore, managing director of Coventrybased Netmetix said: “We are really pleased to be able to support Alex’s Wish by donating a percentage of our monthly earnings from each cloud server we provide.

“We’re also members of the Alex’s Wish Business Club, which gives us the opportunity to meet other supporters of Alex’s Wish, and Emma works hard to ensure her business supporters gain new connections as well as business updates and knowledge from attending the Business Club and interacting with a range of phenomenal guest speakers.

“It’s been invaluable for our business and we look forward to continuing working with and supporting Alex’s Wish for many years to come.”

Emma Hallam, founder of Alex’s Wish and mum to Alex after whom the charity was named, added: “Working with Netmetix has been a wonderful experience and is a great example of Corporate Social Responsibility in action. Supporting a charity like ours via donating a percentage of sales profits is a wonderful message to share with your customers, especially in these challenging times as charities struggle to keep afloat after having cancelled all their external fund-raising events.”
