‘Difficult decision’ is made to cancel Off The Tracks Festival

-

THIS year’s Off The Tracks Festival, due to be held near Castle Donington in September, has been cancelled.

A post on their Facebook page said: “After a great deal of thought, it is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Off The Tracks 2020.

“It was a hard choice to make but we know it’s the right thing to do to keep you – all our loyal friends – and our lovely crew safe during this time of Covid-19.”

“If you have tickets for 2020 you now have two options:

“1 – Roll your ticket over for next year. You don’t need to do anything, just hold on to your ticket. We very much hope you’ll do this. We’d love to welcome you in 2021.

“2 – Get a refund. You can do this by emailing us at tickets@ offthetracks.co.uk by the end of Wed 30 Sept 2020 at the latest, with your name and address. You should get your refund via PayPal in 14 days from our receipt of the

request.

“We have invited all the bands from our 2020 programme back for the 2021 festival on September 3, 4, 5, 2021 and we are in the process of confirming those who can. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for news on this as it happens.

“But you know that Off The

Tracks 2021 will still be the friendly, relaxing, memorable festival that we all love.

“We were all excited for OTT 2020 and we’re sorry it won’t now go ahead. Let’s look forward to OTT 2021.

“In the meantime, keep well. “With thanks, love and best wishes from all at Off The Tracks.”
