Farm bids to site 11 new holiday lodges

PLANNING applications received by Charnwood Borough Council this week:

■ High Meadow Farm, Melton Road, Barrow Upon Soar LE12 8HX – Siting of 11 holiday lodges and retention of the access track.

■ Charnwood Building, BoC Bay Area, Holywell Park, Loughborough LE11 3GB – Enlargement of existing compound to provide additional trailer bay and associated works to include the erection of 6m x 5m high lighting columns, rear and sides of enlarged compound, and alterations to road layout.

■ Forest Rise, 55/57 Forest Road, Loughborough LE11 3NW – Retention of four storage containers to rear of student halls of residence.

■ 11 Burfield Avenue, Loughborough LE11 3AZ – Single storey rear extension, hip-to-gable enlargement and conversion of loft, and revised openings to side elevation.

■ 11 Badminton Road, Syston LE7 1LQ – Proposed extension to front, side and rear of existing dwelling to provide annexe accommodation.

■ Land off Halstead Road, Mountsorrel LE12 7HG – Residential Development of 50 dwellings and associated infrastructure.

■ 235 Loughborough Road, Mountsorrel LE12 7AS – Change of use of meals on wheels centre to office, including external alterations (including the removal of porch roof and roof alterations, associated alterations to fenestrations/doors), and the creation of cycle and additional parking provision.

■ Plot 1, Oakwood Drive, Loughborough LE3 8RE – Erection of non-illuminated fascia sign.

■ 20 Grange Avenue, Rearsby LE7 4FY – Proposed single storey side/ rear extension.

■ 41 Greengate Lane, Birstall LE4 3JF – Single storey rear/side extension.

■ 16 Leicester Road, Thurcaston LE7 7JG – Erection of a two-storey front, two-storey side, part single part two-storey rear extensions and dormer window extension to rear of host a house.

■ Land at Station Avenue, Loughborough LE11 5DZ – Discharge of conditions 3, 4, 6, 10, and 15.
