Funnyman Jason announces Town Hall dates

-

COMEDIAN Jason Manford has announced Loughborough dates as part of his new Like Me tour.

Due to demand for tickets, a further 49 dates have been added to his 2021/2022 UK and Ireland tour - including Loughborough.

The tour, which it is hoped will kick off in Colchester on September 25 this year, coronavirus allowing, now totals 178 shows across the country.

He will be performing at Loughborough Town Hall on September 16 and 17, 2022.

It has been a busy few years since Jason’s last stand-up show, but fans of his Absolute Radio show will know this nationally-acclaimed comedian hasn’t changed a bit.

“Like Me” is Jason’s latest comic offering.

He said: “After the fun we had on my last tour, Muddle Class, I’m excited to get back on the road with my new stand-up show.

“In these trying times, it’s always important to be able to get away for a couple of hours and exercise the old chuckle muscle!

“So, I’m coming to a venue near you in 2021/2022, so we can have a good laugh together. See you then!”

Jason’s work spans comedy, acting, singing and presenting and includes a host of TV credits such as Royal Variety Performance, First & Last, The Masked Singer, What Would Your Kid Do?, Scarborough, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Have I Got News For You.

He also made a guest appearance in BBC One show Death in Paradise earlier this month. Jason won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year award at Leicester Comedy Festival in 2000.

Tickets for the Loughborough Town Hall gig cost £31.50 each and can be bought via the Town Hall’s website.
