FAMILY SERVICE. All our welcome to Family Service at St James’ the Greater Church, Oaks Road LE12 9YD on Sunday August 15 at 11 am. Phillippa Taylor and Richard Rock will be leading the service.
OAKS IN CHARNWOOD WOMENS INSTITUTE. The Oaks in Charnwood Womens Institute has recommenced meeting in the Oaks Storer Hall. If you would like more information regarding the Oaks in Charnwood WI membership, please contact their Secretary Pauline Harper on 01530 832289
OAKS SENIORS. The Oaks Seniors Citizens has also recommenced their meetings last week and Wendy Jones has taken over as Leader due to Sheila Bass having to stand down on health grounds.

COMMUNICANTS BREAKFAST. Breakfasts will resume in the Oaks Storer Hall after the 8.30 am Holy Communion service in St James’ the Greater Church. The Breakfasts will be served on the first Sunday of each month commencing Sunday September 5.
The breakfast menu consists of Cornflakes, Boiled Egg, Toast, Marmalade, Tea of Coffee. A suggested donation of £1.50 per person would be much appreciated.
To assist with catering arrangements, please add your name to the Breakfast list at the back of church.
SOCIAL FUNCTIONS OAKS STORER HALL. The Oaks Social Committee are in the process of organising several fund-raising events in the Oaks Storer Hall as follows a Prize Bingo & Fish’ n Chip Night on Saturday September 18 cost £7.
A Harvest Supper with Entertainment on Saturday October 16 cost to be finalised.
A Christmas Meal with Entertainment on Saturday November 20 cost to be finalised.
