UCL DIVISION ONE GRAHAM ST PRIMS 1

INGLES 2

INGLES registered their first three points of the season with a comeback win against Graham Street Prims after two goals from Billy Clarke.

After two draws to start the season Ingles headed to Derbyshire to face one of the EMCFL old boys Graham Street Prims looking to find their first three points.

The game started with Ingles dominating proceedings and looking dangerous. Zak Yousuf on the left was combining well with Dillon Rawson and started to cause some problems with a few jinking runs that committed defenders

. After 10 minutes Ingles were unlucky not to take the lead when the ball found Fowkes about 20 yards out and he unleased an effort that took a slight deflection that took the ball onto the crossbar and away. Prims then were presented with a golden chance to take the lead when a misplaced pass from keeper Webb found the Prims forward but when through on goal he fired wide.

Ingles then took their foot of the throttle. River Hardy had to come off injured and was replaced by Callum Hardy but the game turned very scrappy with neither side able to take control.

After the break Prims were awarded a penalty and Fell converted to put the hosts ahead but Ingles to their credit like the previous games showed an instant response.

fter 58 minutes the Ingles pressure did tell and Clarke grabbed an equaliser and then put Ingles in front with an unstoppable left footed shot from 25 yards past the keeper.

In the last 15 minutes Prims began to play more direct football and Ingles had to defend. The back four lead by Boulter and the excellent Abou dealt with everything that came their way and kept the dangerous Fell quiet to take all three points.
