Introducing the grand slam of innovative home security

Force 8’s auto-lock, slam-shut, multi-point door system is at the top of its game when it comes to ultimate home safety. Discover why so many customers have opted for this quality technology...

-

AT a time of year when many of us decide to take a holiday, keeping your home secure is more important than ever.

Constantly thinking of innovative ways to improve home security, Force 8 has launched the classic auto-lock - a traditional style slam-shut, multi-point door system.

Easier to use than lift-up lever handles, the new system is perfect for the elderly or those with disabilities.

Managing director of Force 8, Dennis Sumner, found that the majority of customers preferred the old latch locking system where a door locks on closing; yet sought the security of modern locks.

The new system is therefore a combination of traditional and contemporary locking methods, and features a finger-pull cylinder - available in polished chrome or polished brass finishes - which engages the hooks and locks to make a complex process very simple.

It also provides a number of other benefits, including:

Two hook-locks, which engage automatically when the door is shut reducing the risk of ‘follow-on’ or ‘tailgating’ attacks

can be additionally secured with the deadbolts by using the key or the thumbturn on the inside of the door

For increased security, the key barrel is protected by an anti-drill disc cover

can be installed in either high or low positions.

“When the door is closed, all the hooks and latches are in place,” explained Dennis. “The door is then re-opened from the outside by simply turning the key - the same way you would with the old latch key system. This gives you a smart finish to the outside of the door as there is no handle or lever system on view, just the key barrel.”

For added peace of mind, the system features an antidrill disc directly over the cylinder face, shielding it from intruders, as well as a number of substantial bolts for extra strength.

“The new system now gives our customers a choice combined with the same high standard of security which people have come to expect,” said Dennis.

“It is essential that we continue to offer our customers an excellent service combined with peace of mind in our products, and we achieve this by continually evolving and developing new products.”
