This compelling saga centres on the residents of Chester’s Mill, a small American town trapped under a mysterious force field. It doesn’t hurt that there is eye candy for both sexes, from shady exsoldier Barbie to flamehaired reporter Julia Shumway (Rachel LeFevre). Now, series two looks like it could be as compelling as the first; it picks up directly from where the first left off. Chester’s Mill is bathed in a blinding white light as the Dome starts to change. Barbie is awaiting execution on the scaffold after Big Jim (Dean Norris) accused him of murder.
