Name of event: ECSAC Big Try Dive. Where / when is it? Saturday, October 18, 4pm-6.30pm. Macclesfield Leisure Centre and continuing in the clubhouse. What does it involve? If you have never tried scuba before then a try dive with East Cheshire Sub-Aqua Club is the best place to start.
In the safe confines of Macclesfield swimming pool, a BSAC (British Sub-Aqua Club) instructor will introduce you to the basic skills and equipment needed to experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the very first time.
It is an experience you will never forget… so sign up for a try dive with us today and start the adventure of a lifetime!
Our next try dive session is at Macclesfield Leisure Centre on Saturday, October 18, from 4pm to 6.30pm – last entry 6pm – followed by a tour around our clubhouse. Who is it suitable for? Provided you are over the age of 12, diving is a very accessible sport.
Instructors are trained to be flexible and adaptable to work with all students and their individual needs to help them achieve the necessary diving skills. As a result diving is a sport which can be enjoyed by a wide group of individuals.
We also have a snorkelling section in the club which is open to all ages. Any other information? The cost of a try dive is £15 per person or £25 for two.
This includes a drink and a hot dog at the clubhouse afterwards.
We recommend that you book a specific time in advance via the contact form on our website www.ecsac.org.uk. Want to find out more? There is lots more information on our website including photos and videos of recent trips.
