Your town, your club, your Lotto

THE Silk­men Sup­port­ers Trust (SST) is launch­ing a brand new lot­tery, the Su­per Silk Lotto.

This will pro­vide a great op­por­tu­nity to pro­mote the mis­sion state­ment of the SST which is help­ing to im­prove and de­velop the club via its part­ner­ship with fans and the lo­cal com­mu­nity.

David Lewis is this year’s cho­sen char­ity part­ner and a per­cent­age of the pro­ceeds from the Su­per Silk Lotto will be pre­sented to them at the end of the sea­son, in or­der to as­sist in their con­tin­ued com­mit­ment to high qual­ity ed­u­ca­tion, res­i­den­tial, med­i­cal and ther­a­peu­tic support to peo­ple who have learn­ing dis­abil­i­ties, epilepsy and autism.

En­try to the lotto will cost a pound, with a first prize of £100 up for grabs each week.

Ev­ery­one who en­ters the lot­tery will be given a unique num­ber for ev­ery en­try and a live draw is due to take place with DJ and Silk­men fan Nick Wright ev­ery Fri­day from Novem­ber 28 on Canal­side Ra­dio.

Jon Smart, SST chair­man, said: “We wanted to do some­thing that can support our club by help­ing to de­velop an ini­tia­tive that could not only in­clude the reg­u­lar Silk­men fans but the com­mu­nity as a whole.

“It will also pro­vide ben­e­fit to a fan­tas­tic lo­cal char­ity which makes a dif­fer­ence to the lives of vul­ner­a­ble peo­ple in our com­mu­nity.”
