Fundraiser’s thanks
A FUNDRAISER has thanked the public for its support.
Chris Fenlon, 58, raised more than £200 with a collection at Macclesfield Town FC and a raffle at the Cock in Treacle pub.
He will donate the money to Macmillan Cancer Care.
The fundraising was inspired by his mother, Teresa, and father, Bill, who both died of cancer.
Chris, of Pinfold Street, Macclesfield, said: “I really wanted to do my bit to support the charity who were a great support to me and my mum during her cancer battle.
“Thank you to the club and fans, and locals at the pub for their support.”
