●● THE HAPPY Valley Artisan Market will take place on Sunday, February 1, at 10am.

Gifts, arts and crafts will be among the items on the stalls at the market, which takes place at Clarence Mill.

The market runs until 3pm on the first Sunday of each month. There is free parking, with limited spaces at the back of the mill. ●● A CAR wash will raise funds for Bollington Bridgend Centre and Friends of Bollington Recreation Ground.

The event is happening every two weeks, with the next on Wednesday, February 4, in conjunction with the organisations and Cheshire Probation Service. It runs from 10am at Bollington Recreation Ground.

The night at The Spinners Arms pub is called I Love the 80s and takes place on Saturday, January 31, from 8pm.

All proceeds from the event will go to Cancer Research UK. ●● THE next jazz night at Bollington Arts Centre is on Saturday, January 31 with popular drummer Baby Jools and his Jazzaholics.

The event is at 8pm and tickets cost £9.
