DRUG ARREST

A MAN has pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis.

James David Quinn, 30, was arrested near St Albans Church on Chester Road in Macclesfield on Thursday, April 30.

Quinn, of Kingsbridge Road, Harpurhey in Manchester, appeared before Crewe Magistrates on Monday, May 4.

He was issued with a forfeiture and destruction order.

He was also fined £75 with a £20 surcharge and additional Crown Prosecution Service costs of £85.
