The British Academy Television Awards BBC1, 8pm
The leading lights of British TV get their glad rags on and head for London’s Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, tonight, where Graham Norton is hosting the annual knees-up celebrating the best smallscreen shows over the past 12 months. Some of the programmes battling for the gongs include Happy Valley, Line of Duty, The Missing and Marvellous, which all have three nominations each. Meanwhile, Benedict Cumberbatch, James Nesbitt, Toby Jones and Jason Watkins are nominated for Best Actor.
