Quirky summer fair marks school’s 50 years

TYTHERINGTON School will celebrate its half century later this month.

A summer fair will be held at the school to mark the milestone, featuring quirky delights including a 60s tent, a rodeo sheep, welly throwing and a human fruit machine.

There will be burgers, hotdogs, ice cream and cakes too to boost your energy for a penalty shoot out with Macclesfield Town FC’s Roary the Lion.

The event takes place on June 27 from 11am to 4pm and is free.
