Auction has modern twist

THE contents of a 17th century manor house will be auctioned off on Saturday, June 13.

The Manor House, in Chelford, boasts and array of 17th and 18th century furniture, as well as a contemporary art collection including an Greyson Perry urn and an etching by Lucian Freud.

The sale, led by Adam Partridge Auctioneers, starts at 10.30am, with viewings on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th from 10am to 8pm.
