NETWORK MEET
MACCLESFIELD College is holding its next free Business Breakfast Networking Event on Friday, June 12.
The event, from 7.30am to 9am, includes a free breakfast provided by the college’s Silk Room Restaurant and is for professionals to network with Cheshire businesses and find out about the college’s work training and apprenticeship programmes.

FLOWER POWER
QUARNFORD Parish Church in Flash, Britain’s highest village, will host its annual flower festival from June 13 to 16, from 11am to 7pm.
There will be a Flash Loyal Union Society service at 2pm on Saturday, June 13, followed by the blessing of the well and the Teapot Parade.
The Songs of Praise service is on Sunday, June 14, with the Benefice choir at 7pm, followed by a social evening on Monday, June 15 at 7.30pm.
DRIVING TIPS
YOUNG drivers are being targeted in a road safety campaign by firefighters.
Fire crews are working across the county to encourage all road users, particularly young drivers, cyclists and motorcyclists, of the dangers of using mobile phones, eating and other activities which can cause distractions at the wheel.
This is as part of Road Safety Week.
Officers will be giving road safety advice at Halfords in Macclesfield on Friday, June 12 from 11am to 3pm.
