New-look hunting lodge open

-

ADLINGTON Hall has unveiled its newly refurbished Hunting Lodge.

Bosses at the popular weddings and events venue wanted to preserve the history of the building while ‘embracing the modern day’, and have followed up a makeover of the bar more than a year ago with a restyle of the main room.

The ‘modern and clean’ theme remains, with carpets, curtains and light fittings all replaced.

Catering firm Barretts Event Caterers will also be joining the team at Adlington Hall and Gardens.

Kristin Williamson, marketing co-ordinator, said: “Barretts have a wealth of experience in creating and serving spectacular food and we are joining together in partnership to enhance the service we already have on offer.

“This, in conjunction with our recent renovation of the Hunting Lodge, is a really exciting change and we look forward to welcoming guests to our venue.”

In feedback to the hall after a recent visit, Chris and Helen Slater, from Adlington, said: “You promised us the service and food would be excellent and you did not disappoint.

“The feedback from the whole day has been amazing and in particular the food and drink.

“Many thanks for your patience, attention to detail and hard work.”
