If you want to play email Wayne Carson at poyntonjfc11@ gmail.com. ●● BOSSES at the swimming pool in Poynton have announced they have closed the facility for the summer.

Everybody Sport and Recreation, which runs Poynton Leisure Centre, closed the pool earlier this month for improvement work.

It will not open again until early September.

Among the projects is the replacement of all the pool tiles.

A spokesman for Everybody Sport and Recreation said: “There is never a good time to close a pool but completing this work now will ensure the pool is open for both the public and schools in early September.

“Everybody customers are able to use both Macclesfield and Wilmslow during the closure.

“Everybody membership terms and conditions apply.”

If you would like any further information about the closure, visit www. everybody.org.uk or call 0300 123 5018. ●● POLICE have issued a warning to motorists after a spike in car crime.
