Get your ticket for annual glitzy ball before it’s too late

-

IT’S one of Cheshire’s hottest tickets as the annual charity ball for East Cheshire Hospice heads for a sell-out.

Dozens of tables have already been snapped up for the glittering event at Mere Golf Resort and Spa on Friday, November 27.

Glamorous ball gowns and smart dinner jackets will be out in force, with Winter Wonderland the theme of the occasion.

The aim is to raise £60,000 towards the charity’s new bed appeal and many firms are combining the event with their staff Christmas party.

New beds are needed for hospice inpatients and it is hoped the ball will raise most of the funds for replacements.

The organising committee, which includes high-profile supporters Claire Thorneycroft, Ginny Blunt and Sharon Ronnie, promise a night of fun and entertainment as they look to beat last year’s total of £57,000.

Jessica Ruth, event manager at the hospice, said: “It’s looking as though it’ll be a sell-out so those wanting to come need to book tickets and tables as soon as possible.

“The evening promises not to disappoint and to live up to its reputation as the local charity ball of the year in Cheshire with an evening of indulgence, fine dining, classic entertainment and magical surprises.

“We pride ourselves on the relaxed, charming and entertaining evening we deliver.”

Organisers are keen to hear from businesses interested in sponsorship packages, which include tickets.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available at £95 each, including priority seating, a gift for each guest and table wine.
